• Account Information: When you sign up or log in via Firebase Authentication, we collect basic details such as your Name, Email Address, and Profile Picture URL.
• Task Content & Data: Tasks, subtasks, task categories, due dates, priority levels, and completion status created by you are stored securely in local device storage (SQLite) and synced to Firebase Cloud Firestore.
• User Preferences: App settings such as active theme selection (Classic Indigo, Emerald Green, Sunset Orange), selected locale/language (English, Hindi, Gujarati), and notification settings.
• Technical & Diagnostics Data: Non-personally identifiable diagnostic info, such as device model, OS version, and crash logs to troubleshoot errors and maintain app stability.

🔐 3. Device Permissions & Usage

To deliver core capabilities, Task Manager requests explicit runtime permissions on your device. You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time via your device's System Settings:

We prioritize the security of your data. We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit and secure database storage mechanisms locally and in the cloud.

Retention: Your data remains stored for as long as your account remains active. Local data is retained until you uninstall the application or clear app storage. Cloud data is retained until you delete your tasks or request account deletion.

👤 7. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have full ownership and control over your personal data:

• Access & Modify: You can edit or delete any task, subtask, category, or profile detail directly within the app at any time.
• Revoke Permissions: You can grant or revoke notification, camera, or microphone permissions at any time through your Android OS settings.
• Account & Data Deletion: If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated cloud/local task records, you can submit a deletion request from the Profile screen or contact us at the support email below. All data will be permanently wiped within 30 days.

👶 8. Children's Privacy

Task Manager is designed for general productivity and is not directed towards children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without consent, please contact us immediately, and we will take immediate steps to remove such data from our servers.
